GAMBIA DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS PRESENTS D100,000 (One Hundred Thousand DALASIS) AS HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Yet, as the World Over in the crusade to extend support to each other in order to contain Covid-19, one of the renouned Political Party known as Gambia Democratic Congress delivered a humanitarian gesture to persons With Disabilities in terms of cash amounting to D100,000 on Tuesday the 12th May 2020 at a hotel called baobab, owned by the party leader honourable Mama kandeh

The presentation is chaired and presided over by a National Assembly Member of the party at Niamina Constituency called Honourable Omar Ceesay. It is followed by a Statement by the Party Leader called Honourable Mama Kandeh. According to Honourable Mama Kandeh, Cash Transfer is indeed an important resource for Persons With Disabilities in light of this difficult time.

Chairman of the federation magistrate Muhammed krubally in the presence of the Board Members extended sincere thanks to the party leader for this huge gesture. Chairman said this is the first time in the history of the Gambia, A Political Party and of course an individual is able to present such a huge amount of money to the federation on behalf of persons with disabilities. Of course, this is done just for humanitarian gesture and not for politics. Chairman krubally further promised the gathering that those Persons With Disabilities will be the sole beneficiaries of this cash because they are the most vonlnrable. He said he will sound the opinion of other DPOS and PwWS about how fairly and equitably the money can be shared amongst the vulnerable PWDS.
