PLAN OF TOGO OFFERS QUALITY SCHOOL FOR ALL IN THE VILLAGE OF MO

The project "Promoting Inclusive Education" was launched on 25 October in Djarkpanga, prefecture of Mô . It is implemented on July 2018 in 44 schools of the prefecture and will take end on June 2021.

The project aims at improving a quality education for all children without discrimination and increasing girls or boys with disabilities access to an inclusive and quality educational in the prefecture.

The project focused among other on teachers training children’s clubs on inclusive education for people with disabilities, the provision to disabled pupils of the appropriate means of mobility, the allocation of schools benefiting from the project of educational equipment, support for the celebration of special events for children with disabilities, teacher training on Braille writing and sign language for the inclusion of children with disabilities in classrooms.

Funded by Plan International Japan, the project is initiated and implemented by Plan International of Togo in partnership with the Social Action Program for Integral Development (PASDI) in Africa.
