People with hearing disabilities committed to fight against COVID 19!

Two hundred and fifty (250) health kits for the deaf schools of Bamako, Ségou and Koutiala were handed over on Thursday April 23, 2020 by Swiss Cooperation through "Famu Danse" at the School for the Hearing Impaired (EDA) at Hippodrome in Bamako.

As part of the fight against coronavirus disease, Famu Danse has developed an emergency project for beneficiaries, that it supported since 2017. This project shows beside the training of people with hearing disabilities in dance and theaters, Famu Danse cares about their well-being and fights for their inclusion in development and citizenship actions.
Hence, thanks to the funding of Swiss Cooperation, through its Partnerships Program for the Exercise of Appropriate Governance (PEGA), that Famu Danse was able to make available to the Malian Association of the Deaf (AMASOURDS) a batch of 250 kits consisting of a hand washing device, hydroalcoholic gel, soaps and bleach.
Famu Danse is ready to support AMSOURDS in carrying out awareness-raising actions with a view to informing the population about the protection and prevention means of pandemic
