THERE ARE 16 DISABLED PEOPLES ORGANISATION LEGALLY REGISTERED WITH GAMBIA FEDERATION OF THE DISABLED

Gambia Federation Of THE Disabled (GFD) is the umbrella Federation of all Disabled Peoples Organisation (DPOS) in The Gambia that represents and advocates the rights and voice of all Persons With Disabilities in The Gambia. Its objective amongst other aims is to ensure equality amongst all including Persons With Disabilities in The Gambia. In doing so, it networks and collaborates with Gambia Government and its agencies including other institutions who have shared visions and mission with the federation.

In light of the presence of the DPOS across the country, recently, according to the records of the Umbrella Federation the following DPOS that are registered under it and thus, pay their annual subscription fees are as follows ;
