A workshop on learning and professional training of young people with sensory disabilities

As part of the inclusive education and professional training project funded by AFD (Development Agency of France humanity and inclusion (HI) organized from February 27 to 29, 2020 in the social action meeting room an experience sharing and brainstorming workshop on possible and appropriate adaptations relate to the local context for better professional support for children with intellectual and hearing disabilities and stabilized patients in vocational training centers.

The three days of workshop which gathered the bosses of training centers, parents, apprentices, managers and animators of HI, animators of APHMOTO (Association of Persons with Motivated Disabilities of Tône), resource people, a representative of the regional directorate for social action in the DRAS / S savannahs, Inspectorate of Technical Education and Vocational Training (IETFP) and the Prefectural Chamber of Trades (CPM), i.e. 26 people per workshop.
During the three (03) days the participants through the facilitators by deficiency (auditory, intellectual and psychosocial) allowed in a participative way based on the exchanges and constructive analyzes as well in the group work to bring out the difficulties and the approaches of solutions in terms of adaptation to consider.
The afternoons were devoted to workshop visits for the continuation of exchanges between the actors, the bosses and apprentices followed by advice in order to facilitate the collaboration between apprentices pledge of a successful inclusive professional training.
