ARTICLE 9 OF THE UNCRPD- ACCESSIBILITY

Article 9 of the CRPD is about Accessibility.... This is one of the key bridges across and interrelated to other articles of the crpd. This is the ability or design to access and benefit from the system or entity. This canbe physical environment, to transportation, to information and communications, including information and communications technologies and systems, and to other facilities and services open or provided to the public, both in urban and in rural areas.

Ade and Ayo are both twins brother right from born, both will be use here for accessibility purpose to explains.
As Ade growing, the parents don’t know what to do with his accessibility within the home environment and left him alone while Ayo is able to picking all around his environment surroundings unlike Ade because of environmental and communication barries.
As time go on it was discovered many factors came in plays along.
He is unable to communicate with anyone and have no access to information but showed more active to what he see within the environment like playing with toys and copy the other kids in use hands to building sand(clay) toys, house, etc they enrolled both boys into a school while Ade just doing nothing and wouldn’t acquire any lesson in the classes due to his unable to grasp what is being speech in the classes or writing.
He have become dislike go to school due to bore.
All efforts for parents family and others around him to communicate and information share barriers.
When other person in big city visited the village and see such grow up Deaf boy stil backward and advised the family to enroll him in a special school for better education.
Effort made now Ayo was sent to School for the Deaf Akure when he now start learnt how to communicate via handshape to fingers talk known as Sign language.
This communicate enable him access to information and knowledge acquisition via
learning process.
His environment start know changes within Ayo via interaction with others through it take long before he is being accepted.
Actually this fiction is about Accessibility needs of Persons with disabilities using Deaf as example here.
Other Disabilities need access to his environment and various new technology devices for effective like others.
Physical environment be accessible via building access to every one alike eg ramp, railways and other to make everyone movable without barriers.
Communication, various mode of communication will be available for the disabilities like infographic (write material with photographs for those with intellectual disabilities), or easy to read materials, materials write in big written, Sign language interpreters for deaf, Braille for Blind or the use of new computer device with Jawa software installations blind.

Accessibility is wide and will be better fit according to everyone alike.
