As part of the celebration of the African Child's day Humanity and inclusion, initiated an advocacy action against the authorities at various levels for inclusive education of children and young people with disabilities.

The objective of this event that mobilized various actors involved in the protection of these rights, is to call for the compliance to children rights in general and children with disabilities in particular, The actors involved in the protection of the rights of children with disabilities, under the aegis of Handicap International, called on the Head of State and his government to adopt the implementing decrees for Law No. 2017-06 of September 29, 2017, protecting and promoting the rights of disabled people in the Republic of Benin. Like a cry from the heart, this plea quickly enhance the advocacy action initiated by Handicap International on the occasion of the African Child’s day .
The theme chosen for the commemoration touched upon the right to education for all and access to an inclusive and adapted school environment for disabled children in Benin, following the "Inclusive Education" project
