Awareness of the Youth Committee of Amnesty International Benin on activism of young disabled people
This Saturday, March 14, 2020, was held at the headquarters of Amnesty International Benin (AIB), a launch day for the activities of the youth committee. Bringing together several partner organizations of Amnesty International Benin, the day was marked by the sharing of information on the rights of people with disabilities for better promotion of inclusion.
It was in response to the invitation of the Youth Committee that the Federation of Associations of Persons with Disabilities of Benin (FAPHB) was strongly represented by a delegation of three people, namely ZIBO Maliki, the General Treasurer; BIAOU Boni Romulus, the Program Officer and DOMINGO Nassirou, the President to sensitize young people on discriminatory barriers to young people with disabilities.Mr. DOMINGO Nassirou the lead of the delegation was favorable to accompany the young committee in all the activities they will have to carry out in order to promote human rights and specifically those of people with disabilities. His good will will result in the signing of a partnership agreement between the youth committee and the FAPHB in a collaborative process.
In fact, the activities of this day ended with a family photo and a good satisfaction of the participation of young people
