DECISIPH/Handicap International, 2010
This “Rights in Action” report aims to document and disseminate positive experiences of people with disabilities actively participating in local governance in West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo).
The report analyses these examples and proposes a series of practical recommendations for key stakeholders (local decision makers, Disabled People’s Organisations, Development partners) on how to replicate or ‘scale up’ this good practice.
This document presents the main results from Burkina Faso study.
