HEENO INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION INITIATED T SHIRT PROJECT FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
On Tuesday, 16th June 2020, a charitable foundation called Heeno International Foundation in collaboration with Gambia Federation Of The Disabled initiated T Shirt Project for Persons With Disabilities. The initiative is to give financial support to PWDS to sell the said T-shirts to realise their independence and finance comfort.
It is an experiment that Heenoo International Foundation and the umbrella federation for PWDS Want to see if it will be a workable one. There are 100 T-Shirts available ready to go to the market. Ten Persons With Disabilities will be given each 10 T-Shirts.
The reasonable price is given to each PWD. Any sale price added on top of the price by any PWD is the profit for that particular PWD.
Chairman of the Federation Mr Muhammed Krubally urged recipients of the T-Shirts to take the initiative seriously and sell them quickly and pay back the cost of the T. Shirts to the federation so that the opportunity can continue and boil down to other PWDS who wish to undergo business.
On Behalf of Heeno International Foundation, Lamin also encouraged PWDS To take the initiatibe seriously.
Mr. Muhammed Njie is the Artist responsible for printing the T-Shirts.
