Meeting between kebbi state ministry of women affairs, TLM nigeria, and joint national association of persons with disabilities kebbi state chapter.

today,23 jully 2019,there is a meeting between the representatives of the joint national association of persons with disabilities ,the state ministry of women affairs and officials of TLMnigeria to discuss about how to domesticate in kebbi state the disability bill signed by the president of the federal republic of nigeria. The permanent secretary of the ministry said in her welcome remarks that it is time for kebbi state persons with disabilities to wake up and works hard for the domestication of the bill. She added that the ministry is ready to support the association to achieve this goal.

The representative of TLM nigeria affirms the determination of his NGO to help the association.
The chairman of the association reaffirms that the domestication and implementation of disability bill in kebbi state is very important for the life of persons with disabilities of the state and thanks the two partners for their supports.

The meeting started at 8 :49 am in the office of the permanent secretary of the ministry of omen affairs and social development.After the opening prayer, and self introduction of participants, the permanent secretary of the ministry thanks participants for coming to the meeting.She said it is time for persons with disability to join hands and work hard for the realization of their rights.this bill is yours she added,if you do not wake up it will never be domesticate and implementate.
THe representative of TLM nigeria they are in kebbi state to support persons affected by leprosy in particular and persons with disabilities in general.so, they will give all the necessary support to JONAPWD which is the embrella body of all associations of persons with disabilities.

After the speeches of the permanent secretary and the representative of TLM nigeria ,the state chairman of joint national association of persons with disabilities , abdullahi aliyu usman thanks the ministry and TLM for their collaboration and supports.He said the domestication and implementation of the bill will improve considerably the life of persons with disabilities of the state and also it will facilitate the realization of their rights.they will have a dissability commission where all the affairs of persons with disabilities will be treat.Also they will be massively employed and a lot of jobs will be created for them.

After these, the discussion started between participants about how to do for the domestication of the bill in the state.
The meeting was closed at 12:18 pm by a long closing prayer done by the public relation officer of the ministry.
