SO FAR THE LARGEST FOOD SUPPLLY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST C19 REACHED GAMBIA FEDERATION OF DISABLED

As Humanitarian Assistance continues to pour down to the vulnerable around the world in order to contain the rapid spread of the prevalent deadly Covid1-19,today Friday 17 April 2020, the First Lady of the office of the president of the Republic Of The Gambia Fatoumata Bah Barrow donated 50 bags of rice, 25 cartons of bars of soaps and 10 Cartons of bleaches through Gambia Federation of Disabled on behalf of Persons With Disabilities.

According to the Chairman of the Federation, Magistrate Muhammed Krubally, since donations started to be received by the umbrella Federation in the fight for survival against Covid-19, the donation of the food and sanitary materials by the wife of the President Of The Republic Of The Gambia today is the biggest humanitarian package to the federation on behalf of its members.

Again, another interesting move witnessed by the umbrella federation today is that, the deliberation of this materials to the umbrella federation is done by the Honourable Minister, called Fatou Kinteh, Her Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Women’s Counsellor and other women sympathisers of the Ministry Of Women, Children, and Social Welfare Department. The Director of Social Welfare Department called Jankoba Jabbi also witnessed this deliberation.All these dignitaries expressed intensed delight that such support for Persons With Disabilities reached them to ensure survival in the light of this difficult times. They promised the umbrella federation that, this gesture is just the beginning and hopefully, more support are on the way for PWDS.
The Chairman thanked them for the support and yet, called on all to rally behind PWDS for more support.
