TOGO / meeting on Promoting people with disabilities rights in Lomé.

The African Disability Forum FAPH held on January 28 a consultative workshop with its partners. This meeting takes place outside of the Eexecutive counsil 6th ordinary meeting.

It is an exchange between African Disability Forum and its partners. The work will focus on the review of programs and the planning of future activities. The conference allows to advocate for the socio-economic and professional inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as their involvement in the design, development, implementation and monitoring-evaluation of developing programs.
"At this meeting of the executive council, a workshop is planned with partners who support the forum . During this workshop, we will Judge together our projets ’s praticability "said MAIGA, president of FAPH.
Added Komivi AYASSOU, President of Board members of the Togolese Federation of Disabled People (FETAPH), this workshop will serve as a framework for assessing Togo ’ s efforts in promoting and protecting people with disabilities rights.
The African Disability Forum also calls on African countries to go beyond the ratification to effective implementation of UN Convention on Persons with Disabilities rights. The Chief of Staff representing the Minister in charge of Social Action reassured the FAPH to support Togolese government. Created in 2015 in Nairobi, FAPH brings together 57 African disability organizations.
