The Cacheu Association of Disabled People APDC is building access ramps to the Bartolomeu public school

To Enable children with disabilities to actively participate in the educational system with autonomy and independence, removing obstacles and barriers to accessibility in public and private schools in the Cacheu sector.


According to the President of the Association of Disabled People of Cacheu APDC, the construction of a ramp in public and private schools, will facilitate access to many children with disabilities to their full participation and equal opportunities with other children and young people.
The head of the organization said that the identification of educational institutions without a ramp are taken un to account, so that they can deal with the removal of obstacles and barriers to accessibility.
according to the president, << therefore, we act in public buildings, including private schools, we also take appropriate measures to set up access ramps at least for the accessibility of public services taking into account all aspects related to accessibility for people with disabilities.
